The Toy Room in London is a modern, stylish, private members club in Mayfair. One of the few high end clubs near to Oxford Circus, close to Bond Street, and one of the best clubs of the ones which are there, it is where London's nightlife becomes bright and bold.
At the Toy Room Club, the décor is perfect, with a classy Italian lounge feel: leather wall panelling, brass studs, comfortable seating and relaxed lighting. You will receive the most luxurious treatment of any of the nightclubs in Mayfair. And yet it remains a fun, easygoing environment. Rather than the stuffy feeling you get in many an old-fashioned VIP room, the Toy Room Club London boasts a fun environment, adding amazing little features such as “Frank the Teddy”, that make it one off the best R&B and hip hop clubs in London.
If you want to be where everything is happening, but you want to avoid the pitfalls of hip hop bars in London which are open to the public, the Toy Room gives you the full VIP experience, combining the intimate setting, luxurious décor, popular music, and an exclusive guest list, ensuring that you have the time of your life without having to give up comfort or fun. You will enjoy all the benefits of one of the finest celebrity clubs in London.
Because this club is a celebrity hot spot, they naturally want a certain class of guests, so they have a very strict dress code. If you want to feel at home among London's wealthiest and most famous socialites, then you need to look sharp. The official dress code is smart casual, but we advise dressing up a little more than that. Ladies are recommended to wear a flowing skirt, a cocktail dress, or a blouse and tailored, fashionable jeans. Accessories must also be classy and trendy, and don't forget that you need to wear heels here. If you aren't comfortable in stilletos, consider a wedge, block heel, or a kitten heel. Gentlemen are recommended to wear a button down collared shirt with smart suit trousers, khakis, or black or blue jeans. Absolutely nothing distressed. And absolutely no sports shoes. Black or brown polished leather or faux leather are the ideal shoes for a classy club like this.
With an amazing selection of DJs The Toy Room stands head and shoulders above other Mayfair clubs. London comes to life with the sounds of DJ Kaveh and DJ Prince Charles. And if you had any doubts as to to excellent management of the club, do not fear, as under Luca Maggiora, Jordan Rocca, and Gennaro Salerno your night is in safe hands. They have managed The Toy club expertly, putting their decade of London club experience to good use to make sure you have the time of your life.
Which naturally extends to the brilliant digital setups. You can enjoy their FUNKTION 1 sound system, plasma display screens, and full laser and club lighting, whether for an amazing night out or a memorable product launch. For a private party you can choose between the three different rooms with their own event packages, from Frank's Bedroom for a fun night and open bar for up to 200, to 1942 for a small and intimate event, to the Grand Room, completely decked out for a great product launch or large scale party. The Toy Room London has everything you need for a perfect night out.
Dress codes can be confusing, so let us help you with our detailed, visual guides!
What is recommended: The recommended look is the best one not just to get you in, but to make you feel at home.
The men at The Toy Room club generally wear white collared, button down shirts, without a tie most of the time. Black jeans are common, but black and dark grey suit trousers are a far more popular choice. Men generally slick or spray their hair to keep it under control.
The women at The Toy Room generally wear a nice, classy cocktail dress, following the rule of two and only wearing a dress that is two of the following: low cut, short, exposing midriff, bodycon. Loose hair, glam make up, and delicate, trendy jewellery are all perfect complements to the look.
What is allowed: The allowed clothes are the full range of what will get you through the door.
The official dress code at The Toy Room is smart casual. Aim for something sleek, elegant, but don't worry about needing a three piece suit or anything too fancy. Just try and look nice.

What is a grey area: The grey area are clothes that might be allowed some days/events and not others, or that are at the discretion of door staff. In short, if you happen to be in the area, wearing these clothes and want to check the club out, then maybe see if you can. You might get lucky. But if you are actually planning a night here? Avoid these and go for something closer to the dress code.
Leather clothing is a grey area. Although some leather dresses and miniskirts especially can be in fashion and might be allowed in, there is no guarantee the door staff will always let you in if you are wearing leather clothes. Instead, try and make sure the only leather is on your shoes and belt.
What is forbidden: These clothes will get you turned away at the door, even if you are on the guest list, have a table with bottle service reserved, and it's your birthday. Sorry.
No sportswear. Not even fashion statement pieces. Especially no trainers.
No distressed look clothing. Nothing torn, worn, faded, or stained, even if it is an intentional fashion statement.
No t-shirts. You can get away with a t-shirt underneath your button down shirt, and women can wear short sleeved blouses. Besides that, no t-shirts.
No beachwear. No flip flops, swimming suits of any kind, sarongs, flowy beach dresses, or anything else for the beach.
No loose clothing. Nothing baggy, sagging, oversized, or generally huge on your frame. Check in big coats and bags at the desk if you can.
