The club, opened in 2012, is situated on Bolotnaya Embankment, in the heart of the hip young Krasny Oktyabr party island, with amazing views on Moscow River and various architectural splendors such as Christ the Savior Cathedral. If you stand on the bridge that runs from Church of Christ the Savior across the Moscow River, you will find yourself looking out towards Bolotny Island, one of Moscow’s most creative spaces. Notorious for being home to some of the city’s hottest (and indeed most exclusive) clubs, the area is a magnet for tourists and locals alike. The focal point of the island is Red October, which was once the factory that produced the famous Alenka chocolate. The image of a young girl in a headscarf has become a nostalgic relic of the Soviet Union and still adorns the packaging of Red October chocolate today.
The Club covers almost 4,000 square meters of space, which is nicely divided into three different zones: ICON Club, ICON Bar and ICON Hall, and can host about 2,500 people. Each of these spices has its own vibe and special atmosphere going on, appealing to many different tastes. ICON Bar is the main place for meeting guests, the area which connects with the club, for welcome drinks and buffet tables. The capacity of this zone is up to 500 people. It is equipped with a contact bar and 25 plasma panels. There is DJ and different music style from Icon Club. ICON Club is a central area with a huge dance floor, VIP areas with a capacity of over 500 people, with beautiful blue séparé, full of comfortable pillows and a roof terrace with superb views of Moscow at dawn. Guests enjoy spectacular performances by professional dancers and acrobats, the ultimate in fresh club music - on weekends house is king - from New York to Berlin to Ibiza and more than 70 square meters of LED screens producing spectacular visual effects. ICON HALL occupies a total area of 1500 square meters. The Hall can be used for conducting live concerts, social & corporate events. Maximum capacity of the Hall is up to 1500 guests at buffet table or 600 people at banquet. The technical parameters of the scene (height - 1.5 meters, width - 9 meters, depth - 6 meters) allow organizing show programs of any level. Icon Hall is a unique events hall that is perfect for holding live performances.
Here are a few of the world famous DJs that have had the pleasure of spinning or performing for ICON's glamorous, discerning and globe-trotting clubbers: Scooter, John De Sohn, Quentin Mosimann, Danny Verde, Mad Tizzy and a multitude of local superstar DJs. In addition, there's an enormous dance floor at guests' disposal, because when the music is on, it need space for maneuvering! Icon Hall is a unique events hall that is perfect for holding live performances.
The Club pays attention especially to the events, show programs and the newest musical trends. This summer you can enjoy some of the parties/performances such as THE SHAPE OF THE WATER, followed by several DJs, RASA WILD PARTY, ANIMANIACS, with the Disney cartoons over the screens. ICON is a unique place in Moscow where celebrities as well as electronic music lovers share the same dance floor and party the weekend away until the very early hours.
