VOLT Club is located in the south of the historical city centre of Milan, near the Colonne di San Lorenzo. The club opened in September 2016 in Cerchia dei Navigli, but has already become the place to be in the nightlife scene for fashionistas, cool people, trendy youth and people who want to see and be seen.
The area strikes a balance between ancient Italian architecture and modern Milan aesthetics. Roman sculptures, gothic buildings, and boutiques populate the lively neighbourhood. Volt is the former Divina disco, the first to design this space were Adriano Celentano and Donbachi. The Volt club is located in front of the park of the Basilicas making the nightclub the oldest in the whole city. The club has a New York style and is decorated with very large frescoes, and has beautiful lighting. These arrangements highlight the modern design of the disco. It has a grungy industrial interior, illuminated with colourful neon lights, top-class sound system, a smooth all-black interior and clean and minimal lightning design. Volt delivers a unique mood you can’t find anywhere else!
Besides a good vibe and great cocktails the club also has a great sound system. Volt is a Milan based club for contemporary dance music. It has wide-ranging electronic sets pumping up the dance floor with international headliners like Kiasmos taking Milan by storm. The music genres played by the international DJs are mainly electronic, dance, and house, but some days it will be mixed with some popular hip-hop and dance hall, creating the perfect meeting place for a diverse crowd.
Volt has always been the crossroad of the next generation of techno and underground artists. During these 4 years, the club has hosted nights with &Me, Adriatique, Fideles, Mathame, Patrice Baumel, and more. The maniacally selected lineup and the intimate atmosphere makes the club a must-stop if you’re around. The venue has one of the most avant-garde sound and lighting systems in Milan, the club can accommodate up to 500 people. Slowly this club is rising in the ranking of the best clubs in Milan.
Be aware of the dress code at VOLT club as it is known for its strict door policy. To increase your chances of getting into the club you have to make sure that you are dressed according to the latest fashion trends. The management reserves the right to select who is allowed to enter at the door.
