If you enjoy great cocktails, then this is one of the best places in LA for a superbly mixed drink. Sound counts on not one or two, but three bars, all of which are full bars, so you know you will be able to get your classic bottles and amazing cocktails wherever you are in the venue. The price for drinks can get a bit high, even for a high class Los Angeles nightclub, so consider yourself warned.

The Sound is also a great entertainment venue, and not just for the guests themselves, who put on one hell of a show, but also because they have regular go-go dancers and top LA DJs to keep the mood rocking all night long. If you want to watch people and enjoy the scene, this is a great club for you.

Unless you are on the guest list you will pretty much always have to pay cover. Even if you have reserved a table you can expect to pay something towards cover. However the staff are usually friendly and helpful when you have a concern, and you may be able to negotiate a deposit towards the bar instead of paying cover outright if they are having a slow night. That said, it's much easier to avoid the trouble in the first place and just get on the guest list or reserve bottle service. Bear in mind this is a 21+ venue.
