Based on Paris's actual main aquarium, it naturally isn't about a relaxed night out, or a wild party, so much as a well rounded experience. Although some people know it as "the aquarium in Paris", do not confuse it with "l'aquarium de paris", which is the actual, regular aquarium nearby.
The displays are out of this world. Although some people may find it fairly unimpressive earlier in the day, L'Aquarium really comes into its own by night, with an entire wall dedicated to a gently glowing fish tank where you can see a selection of beautiful sea creatures swimming around in their natural environment.
This chic venue opens as a restaurant from 8.30pm, but the party doesn't actually start until a couple of hours later. They continue to serve light bites throughout the night, but most of the tables used for the restaurant hours will be cleared away, opening up a huge dance floor right in front of the aquarium display. The seating that remains are comfortable and luxurious leather booths, which offer great views of the sea life and the party alike, and make for a wonderful way to relax between dancing and socializing.
There are also some perfect seats to be seen, right in the centre of the aquarium display. So if you want to be the star of the night, make sure to reserve a booth in the middle of the room, and all eyes will be on you, guaranteed.
Whether you show up early for dinner, or arrive later on when the club is already alive, the food options are pretty good, offering the quality of French cuisine you'd expect in such a trendy area. Service is incredibly good, so if you're looking for the best table or bottle service in Paris, this is a great choice. If you want this sort of an extraordinary experience, naturally you have to pay. The prices are a bit high, even for one of the best clubs near Boulogne-Billancourt. That said, you won't experience anything else like it anywhere in the city, so it's well worth it.
