MADDOX
Want to be seen at one of London's most exclusive, most amazing venues? Then Maddox Club London is the place to be. Maddox Club is a private members' club which has been one of the best clubs in Mayfair since it opened its doors in 2007. It is considered one of the best clubs in the London nightlife scene, in fact, bringing a lavish atmosphere, amazing service and a fun night for everyone there.
Revelry and opulence are blended in this wild environment, where you will feel transported to the middle of a celebrity home, or a movie set. The bright neon lights, the high class furnishings, the pricey yet definitely worthwhile drinks, and the beautiful people all around you bring genuine class. And when the drinks are flowing and the music is pumping, you will feel like a Roman emperor, enjoying a truly decadent night out with all that the modern world has to offer.
Reserving a table is a definite must. You will enjoy an extensive list of premium spirits and champagne to keep your palate satisfied all night long. The food is absolutely fantastic as well, a rare treat among a nightclubs in London. You don't want to miss this, as the atmosphere combined with the food and cocktails is all part of a successful night out at Maddox.
With a bold stage for live music, several dance floor areas, and a DJ booth, Maddox Club London has a little something for everyone. Resident DJs Aik and Klipsters will open your weekend on the main dance floor, pumping out top notch music that will accompany your dinner and the first dances of the night, easing you into the party like nothing else. As the night goes on some of the world's top DJs will take over, and the music will keep blasting all night long.
Being one of the most popular celebrity clubs in London, Maddox has seen countless famous faces grace its VIP rooms. This is a venue where you could meet Beyoncé and Jay Z, Paris Hilton, Gwyneth Paltrow, or even a whole range of famous sports stars or political figures. Of course, you would need to be in the VIP area to see these celebrities up close, or perhaps meet them, but that's hardly a bad thing. The VIP tables and bottle service are absolutely amazing, and will be well worth your night even if you're the most famous person in the room.
Even if you do not reserve a table for the night, remember that the Maddox Club is a strictly members only venue, so be on the guest list or you're going home. This level of exclusivity may not sit well with some people, but it is really necessary to keep the energy up and the atmosphere high quality. If you want to get into a club where celebrities have been seen for the last ten years, then you need to be a certain calibre of person. Depending on who you are, ladies can even be allowed in for free, or offered free drinks. There are different lines for invited guests, and girls can sometimes enjoy surprise perks depending on the night. Because of its reliable guest list and table booking service, Maddox is the perfect place to be keeping energy high and music great.
Maddox London keeps open late into the night, unlike some younger clubs that may want to close earlier. If you are a night owl, this is a perfect place for you. You don't have to go home just as the party is getting started, rather, you can stay most of the night, among like-minded, fun-seeking people. THE DRESS CODE AT MADDOX
Dress codes can be confusing, so let us help you with our detailed, visual guides!
What is recommended:
The recommended look is the best one not just to get you in, but to make you feel at home. For men, this generally means anything from a tuxedo to black jeans and a button down shirt, but no less formal. For women, this generally means cocktail dresses. Make up should be natural and classy. What is allowed:
The allowed clothes are the full range of what will get you through the door. For men, feel free to get creative with them
-collared shirts in sharp, bright colours like white or jewel tones
-sweaters
-sports jackets
-black polished leather (or faux leather) shoes. For women the dress code includes:
-cocktail dresses
-little black dresses (little blue dresses if black isn't your colour) -smart dresses
-suit dresses
-two piece outfits
-high heeled shoes -fine jewellery. What is a grey area:
The grey area are clothes that might be allowed some days/events and not others, or that are at the discretion of door staff. In short, if you happen to be in the area, wearing these clothes and want to check the club out, then maybe see if you can. You might get lucky. But if you are actually planning a night here? Avoid these and go for something closer to the dress code. Women's flats is a grey area. Generally they will not be allowed. Exceptions may be made sometimes, but you really can't count on it.
Polo shirts are a grey area. Sometimes they are allowed for less formal nights, but, again you can't rely on this. It is far better to choose a white button down shirt.
Black jeans are a grey area. In theory they are allowed under the current dress code, but in reality the staff might think you are underdressed. So, when in doubt, go for smart suit trousers instead.
What is forbidden:
These clothes will get you turned away at the door, even if you are on the guest list, have a table with bottle service reserved, and it's your birthday. Sorry.
No t-shirts. Absolutely none.
No casual shoes. No trainers, converses, boots, flip flops, etc. Stick to the recommended shoes above.
No blue or otherwise colourful jeans or trousers. Even if black jeans are a grey area, every other type of trouser is completely out of the question. Only black trousers, preferably suit ones.
No sportswear. No tracksuits, running shoes, sports jerseys, football shirts, etc. Not even fashion statement pieces.
No light, loose fitting, or oversized clothes. Sagging trousers, oversized shirts, t-shirt dresses, baggy jumpers, or anything or the likes are allowed. Again, stick to the list above.
No heavy coats, large bags, or hats indoors. You might need a warm winter coat, a hat, or a big practical bag for travelling round London. But make sure to take them off and check them into the cloakroom when you arrive.
