What is recommended:
The recommended look is the best one not just to get you in, but to make you feel at home.
The men at Tonteria nightclub generally wear collared button down shirts, suit trousers or black jeans, smart suits, and business casual. Lots of very sleek, smart looks.
The women at Tonteria club generally wear cocktail dresses, skater style dresses or other knee length dresses, and high heels. Hair can be loose or tied back, but make sure it is very neat. A half-up, half-down look is better than a loose look which could become messy. Statement jewellery is in, so feel free to go wild with big earrings, bright colours, and looks that scream fun.
What is allowed:
The allowed clothes are the full range of what will get you through the door.
The Tonteria dress code is smart casual, with a touch of classic glamour. Anything from a nice shirt and blue jeans, to a full tuxedo, is acceptable here.

What is a grey area:
The grey area are clothes that might be allowed some days/events and not others, or that are at the discretion of door staff. In short, if you happen to be in the area, wearing these clothes and want to check the club out, then maybe see if you can. You might get lucky. But if you are actually planning a night here? Avoid these and go for something closer to the dress code.
The main grey area at Tonteria is their special events. Whenever they run a special event they can change the dress code to suit it, which means that for one night, certain clothes are allowed that might never be allowed again. So if your first experience of Tonteria is a special event night, then make sure to brush up on the dress code, don't just assume you can wear the same thing as last time!
What is forbidden:
These clothes will get you turned away at the door, even if you are on the guest list, have a table with bottle service reserved, and it's your birthday. Sorry.
No flat sandals. Women's spartan style sandals with heels are acceptable. No other sandal is.
No flip flops. Absolutely no flip flops or other beachwear items.
No shorts or rompers. Not for men or women. Full length trousers or skirts only.
