If you are looking for an excellent dance club in Madrid featuring deep house and electronic music, then the Goya Social Club might be the perfect choice for you. One of the few trendy young venues near Calle de Goya, just out of the very centre of the city, this sexy modern nightclub draws its inspiration from the most up to date clubs in New York, London, and Berlin. It is definitely the place to be, and to be seen, in Madrid.
The DJs spin house and electro mostly, with the odd remix or hip hop track. The sound system is astonishingly good, and you will feel the beats right through your bones. The music will really get you up and moving. If you get tired dancing the night away, make sure you have reserved a table or a VIP booth so you can sit down and relax for a while, have a few drinks, and socialize as you please. The layout is also perfect for people watching, and from any table you are bound to get a good view of the sexy hard bodies rocking out on the dance floor.
The drinks are unbelievably cheap for such a great venue. No guarantee they will remain this cheap, but for a couple of hundred euro you can get one of their cheaper bottles and a selection of mixers. As the quality of the bottles goes up so does the price but it beats most of the other central Madrid nightclubs hands down when it comes to price. What is more, they offer a full bar with a wide selection of wines, spirits, beers, and, of course, excellent champagne bottles and cocktails. There is something for every taste.
Like most of the best Spanish nightclubs, it opens late and stays open even later. Expect it to open around midnight most nights, unless they have an earlier event or they are booked for the night. And it will not close until the coffee shops open in the morning. It is definitely one of the best dance clubs near the city centre in Madrid, and a must-see if you aren't staying in the Spanish capital for long. Conveniently located near a range of hotels and restaurants, you can even make sure to stay close to it, to ensure you can pay a visit if you want to.
Of course, the one problem with a club being modern, beautiful, full of stunning people, and catering cheaper drinks and bottle service... is it is normally completely booked for the night. Everyone wants to get in. If you aren't on the guest list and don't have a table booked, most nights you won't even see the queue move. What is more, because this sexy club is very intimate and beautiful, it is often booked for private events, so it may be completely off limits anyway. Only someone with insight could really tell you if they're free and have places. Don't chance it and get a reservation today!
