Nicolas played in the funky room - “El Cielo”, what gave him an inspiration for the name of his club. El Cielo means Sky, but also Heaven, in Spanish. After that he returned back to NY, he decided to open his own club, and to realize all experiences gained and lived in the past 20 years. Having worked for 20 years in one of the most famous place in the world of clubbing and nightlife, such Ibiza is, Matar has collected more than enough experiences to start with his own business.
