If this is what you're looking for, then the MONO nightclub in Stockholm might be your new favourite Swedish club.
Located on the second floor of the Nosh and Chow building, the MONO club is the ideal place to relax after a busy night in Stockholm.
The MONO Club was closed for a short while for renovations in 2017, and it has opened with an even fresher look, a more luxurious interior, and a generally amazing vibe. You can expect to be able to relax, have some of your favourite cocktails, and listen to great music in comfort here. The venue has become a pet project for its owners, and they pride themselves in providing the quality service you should expect in any high-class Swedish nightclub.
The ground floor hosts the Nosh and Chow grill, one of the best places to enjoy a relaxed, high-class dinner until rather late at night in Stockholm. The dining room is exquisite, a perfect balance between the quintessential glamorous restaurant and the sharp lines and minimalist feel that Scandinavian design is known for. You will truly feel like royalty dining here!
The next floor (second or first, depending on how your country classes these things), features a vibrant lounge with a very easygoing, "garden party" theme going on. This is where you can expect drinks on ice, great tunes played by the house DJs, and space to dance in.
Or, if you want to host a private event your friends will be talking about for years to come, you could reserve the fourth floor. Isolated from the bottom two, you can enjoy your own menu and music in comfort and privacy, and be able to mingle with your loved ones and have a great time in a nice, intimate setting.
The MONO club was redesigned as a sort of challenge to the Spy Bar, proving that Stockholm can offer a wide range of options even when it comes to clubs where you can chill and have a slow, steady sort of a night out.
The dress code here is not as strict as in some other clubs, as the emphasis is on being comfortable and relaxed. That said, you will probably feel out of place if you dress down too much. Think eveningwear, or sports jacket outfits: something fairly sharp, but very comfortable. Women are fine in a dress that isn't too short or low-cut, and any shoes that are not sportswear.
However, just because you don't have to be wearing a suit and tie doesn't mean it's easy to get in! The queue can stretch around the block some nights, and the tables at the grill and the lounge are usually fully occupied. You really ought to be on the guest list to get into either, especially at the weekend!
