If you want to have the newest, most exciting, most unique sky bar experience, then Sky Bar 2.0 in Dubai is ready to blow your mind. Having opened early in 2019, this venue is already popular with anyone who’s anyone in Dubai, and it’s easy to see why.
Based on the SKYBAR in Beirut, Lebanon, this Dubai club brings open air clubbing to a whole new level that is truly worthy of representing 2019, and probably 2020 as well, setting the bar for all future Dubai clubs.
The space it set out over three platform areas, with two elevated seating areas and one bar area. Because of how the bar, stage, and tables are set up, this venue is much less for dancing than it is for watching others dance. Sure, you can rock out a little, but to be fair, it can be easy to be swept away by the wild array of performances available at one of the hottest spots in Dubai.
If you are looking for entertainment, the Sky 2.0 nightclub has everything you could possibly want. Burlesque acts and other professional dancers (depending on the night) dance on the bar, trapeze artists and acrobats swing in the air and balance on the tightrope, and other dancers and performers wander the tables, putting on a show and sometimes involving the audience. The outfits are stunning, the acts talented, and your night will be unique.
If you do want to dance, as the night progresses you will find the performers reduce in number and the music leans more towards high energy DJ tracks meant to get everyone moving.
This already famous club offers a full bar, bottle service, and light bites throughout the night. We highly recommend table service, both because of how busy it gets, and because when you are having a great time drinking, socializing, dancing, and watching the performers, the last thing you want is to get up or flag someone down and wait for a drink. The atmosphere is positively buzzing every night, and it’s so much better to take it all in.
Sky 2.0 in Dubai stays open until the early hours of the morning most nights, but not quite long enough to pull a true “all nighter”. Make sure you have a ride home or another place to go to between midnight and 4am if you don’t plan on returning to your hotel or apartment. It is also not usually open on the weekends, often because it is hosting a five star private party.
The age of admission is 21, and the dress code is true red carpet sexy. Men need to be in black tie or black tie optional and women need to be in cocktail dresses or gowns if you want to ensure you get in. Even so, as one of the hottest clubs in Dubai, the venue is usually all booked for the night. So if you want to get in, be on the guest list or book a table, otherwise there is not much chance.
